Date: Saturday, April 13th, 2024
Venue: Centennial College Event Centre | 937 Progress Ave, Scarborough, ON, M1G 3T8
Theme: Embracing Every Adoption Story: Navigating Challenges, Nurturing Understanding, and Honouring Relationships.
What Prospective Adoptive Families Can Expect This Year
|Pursuing Permanency: Prospective adoptive families can expect a portion of the day to be dedicated to connecting with participating Children’s Aid Societies. During this time, families can introduce themselves to adoption workers and take the time to learn more about the incredible children and youth seeking permanency.
|Enriching Education: Central to the ARE is establishing a learning environment where we gain insights from both professionals and those with lived experiences. This year, the ACO will delve into the theme of supporting families through transitions.
|Heartfelt Connections: At the Provincial ARE, prospective adoptive families have the opportunity to connect and share their stories. In addition to meeting other families, prospective parents can explore the Resource Village and engage one-to-one with experienced adoptive parents and adoption professionals!
Make sure to save the date and mark this event in your calendar!
Stay tuned for further details and registration information in the new year. If you have any general ARE-related questions, we encourage you to connect with us at [email protected]. Also,
We can’t wait to welcome you this Spring!
