PACT - ACT Comp/Bulk Payment Registration

Step 1 of 4

25%
  • ACT Missed Session and Cancellation Policy

Professionals who register in the ACT course are making a commitment to attend each scheduled session. Each group of participants works closely together, alongside our ACT facilitator(s), engaging in the collective learning process. When a participant is absent, they miss critical content that builds on concepts introduced from session to session and they miss conversations which inform the collective group understanding. While the completion of ACT is not a requirement of the ACO, it is required in order to receive a full certificate of completion, and the option to create a profile on the ACO ACT trained professional page.

Please be sure to scroll through and review all 5 of the following sections of the policy:

    1. ACT Certificate Eligibility
    2. Options for Missed ACT Sessions
    3. Refund Policy
    4. Cancellations
    5. Additional terms

    ACT Certificate Eligibility

Participants who complete all 8 curriculum sessions (16 online classes) of ACT receive a full certificate of completion and the option to create a profile on the ACO ACT trained professional page.

Participants who miss one or more ACT classes receive a partial certificate of completion. Each certificate will indicate the number of ACT curriculum sessions that the participant has completed.

Participants are not eligible to receive a certificate of completion if they have missed more than 4 ACT curriculum sessions (8 online classes).

    Options for Missed ACT Sessions

    • In the event that an ACT participant misses one or more ACT classes, the following options apply:
    • Participant may forfeit a missed session, meaning a forfeiture of a full certificate of completion and a profile on the ACO ACT trained professional page.
    • Participant may complete a make-up assignment for each class missed, up to a maximum of 2 classes or 1 full curriculum session, in order to receive a full certificate of completion and a profile on the ACO ACT trained professional page.
    • If a participant misses more than 2 classes or 1 full curriculum session, a full course make-up is required in order to receive a full completion certificate and a profile on the ACO ACT trained professional page.  An admin fee of 20% of the regular ACT price applies; make-up course must be completed within one of the next two available terms of ACT, following the original registration term.
    • If a participant misses more than 50% of the course, they will be unenrolled.

    Refund Policy

All fees are non-refundable. Requests for transfers to a future ACT training must be received at least 10 business days before the training start date and will be subject to a $50 administrative fee. Requests received within less than 10 business days of the training start date will be subject to a $100 fee. Transfers are only eligible for one of the next two available terms of ACT, following the original registration term.

Please note: changes to a discounted group registration for an ACT offering will invalidate the initial discount if the group size drops below the minimum group number for the given rate, resulting in an increase to the per person cost of each registration, based on the ACT rates and discount tiers*.

    *Regular registration - $750/person; 2-4 people per offering - $650/person; 5 or more people per offering - $500/person.

    Cancellations

Should the ACO need to cancel an ACT offering, participants will be notified a least 10 days prior to the start date. In this event, participants will be able to transfer to a different ACT offering free of charge or request a refund for their registration. Transfers are only eligible for one of the next two available terms of ACT, following the original registration term.

    Additional Terms

    • In the event that a participant misses class(es) due to special circumstances (ie. an emergency), accommodations for these special circumstances will be considered on a case by case basis by the PACT Manager.
    • Group rates are only applicable for the same ACT offering. If a group splits their registrations across more than one offering, the rates will apply based on the number of people in each offering, not the entire group as a whole. For example:
      • if eight people register as a group using the applicable group rate, and then three of those people decide to transfer to a different offering, they need to pay the difference of the rate for the smaller group which would now fall under a different price bracket, in addition to the transfer fee.
  • ACT Participant Acknowledgement re Use of Zoom for ACT trainings

For security and confidentiality purposes the ACO is using Zoom for ACT with the following parameters in place:

      • ACO uses only paid Zoom subscription accounts which have a higher level of security (vs. free accounts).
      • All ACT Zoom sessions will be set up using a link with a built-in password.
      • All ACT Zoom sessions will be set up with a waiting room that the trainers will use to control entry of known ACT participants. Trainers may choose to “lock” the rooms as well.
      • Zoom links will be provided to individual participants and will not be posted publicly.
      • Zoom links are not to be shared with others.
      • ACT sessions will not be recorded by the ACO or the trainers. Participants are not permitted to record the sessions or parts thereof.
      • ACT participants should use a private space to take part in the Zoom ACT sessions. No one other than participants should be present.
      • The use of headphones by all participants is encouraged to protect the privacy of other participants and the discussions.
      • The use of participant video “on” is strongly encouraged to help us all build a sense of community among one another.

Despite establishing these parameters, ACO cannot guarantee 100% security and confidentiality through the Zoom platform and therefore participants should consider the extent of information they might want to share during the training.

By participating in the ACT training, participants are giving consent to share information within this understanding.
