Understanding Children & Youth

Call me Lily! I am a thirteen-year old music enthusiast. I describe myself as kind and sensitive, and I love to be active. You can often find me at my local recreational center, playing basketball or swimming. I also love to sing and want to be a singer when I grow up. I am looking for a family that will understand how I process information and be committed to supporting my wellbeing.

Meet Harry! This lively seven-year-old loves all things superheroes and sports. He can often be found outdoors, playing hockey or swimming. When inside, he likes to watch the Edmonton Oilers play on TV, or maybe relax with a bit of SpongeBob SquarePants. He loves to draw and do puzzles, and will often add a heart above someone’s name if it's someone he cares about.

Meet Liam! Liam lives life to the fullest. He is a loving and active young boy who can often be found playing outdoors – rain or shine. If he can’t be outside, he might be found colouring, taking photos, or completing puzzles. Liam isn’t one for toys, preferring instead to be active and moving his body.

It won’t take long to be charmed by Maverick; with his sweet smile and bright, beautiful eyes, he captures hearts and leaves a lasting impression. He is a loving and affectionate youth who truly enjoys closeness, whether he’s being held, cuddled, or sharing giggles during play.

Nice to meet you. You can call me Sarah! Do you like jokes? I sure do! I like to make people laugh and enjoy giggling when I find something funny. In my spare time, I love to swim in the pool, ride my bike or scooter, and go for walks. I also love animals and listening to music on my iPad.

Meet Jonathan! This bright and delightful young person would blow you away with his building abilities- be it Lego, woodworking, or electronics. This kid just LOVES to work with his hands. When not building, he may be found playing video games, doing word search puzzles, and listening to music.

Hi! I'm a happy and sweet boy who can be a little shy sometimes. I love swimming, going to the park, and playing Minecraft. I also like playing soccer and baseball.
