|Drew is a curious young boy with a sense of wonder! He loves furry friends and acting out Disney characters he sees on the screen. Drew is full of energy and will be sure to make you laugh. He enjoys playing games on his iPad, singing, and trying new things. Drew loves to take his wandering and exploring outdoors. Whether it’s kicking a ball, riding his bike, or messing around in the sandbox, Drew is happy to keep busy!
|Drew attends school in a mainstream classroom and enjoys greeting his teachers each day. He will initiate play with his peers and call them by name to get their attention. Drew is learning how to interact and play with others by developing skills such as patience and sharing.
|Drew has two younger brothers. He currently resides with one of his brothers and has regular access with his youngest brother who resides in a different home. Drew has some access with his original parents. He has developed a close relationship with his current caregivers who will help with his transition to a new home.
|Drew is working on improving his communication and staying focused on tasks. He has made great gains in these areas and will greet others with a smile and a few words. Drew works with the special adults in his life on how to process big emotions that come and go.
|Drew is seeking a 2-parent family or a single parent with lots of support. His caretaker will need to be active and hands-on when it comes to helping him develop his skills. Drew will benefit from a caretaker who is patient and nurturing and values structure and routine. They will need to actively seek out beneficial resources in the community and advocate for his needs.
