The ACO Offers Free On-Demand Webinars!
The Adoption Council of Ontario provides specialized training and education for all those touched by adoption and permanency journeys. There is a framework for understanding adoption and permanency journeys and all those living these journeys can benefit from this knowledge. In preparation for the Durham CAS Agency Event, we welcome you to watch some of the free on-demand webinars on the ACO website.
What to Expect at an Agency Event
At the agency event, you will learn more about children and youth who are seeking adoptive parent(s), as well as information and resources about permanency and adoption. The presentation will be led by an AdoptOntario Clinical Coordinator and will be accompanied by the children/youth’s adoption worker. They will provide you with information about the children/youth’s interests, personality, needs, supports, and what permanency would look like for them. In addition, an on-demand recorded educational component will be provided to prospective adoptive parents before the event.
