Recommended Webinars The Adoption Council of Ontario provides specialized training and education for all those touched by adoption and permanency journeys. There is a framework for understanding adoption and permanency journeys and all those living these journeys can benefit from this knowledge. In preparation for Ben and JJ’s Profile Night, we welcome you to watch free on-demand webinars on The Importance of Siblings and Parenting Children Who Have Experienced Trauma.
What to Expect at Our Child Profile Night At the event, you will learn more about children who are seeking adoptive parent(s), as well as information and resources about permanency and adoption. The presentation will be led by an AdoptOntario Clinical Coordinator, and will be accompanied by the children’s adoption worker. They will provide you with information about the children’s interests, personality, needs, supports, and what permanency would look like for them. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to hear from and ask questions to either an adoption professional or adoptive parent(s) regarding their experiences within adoption, and to have your questions answered.
