We invite you this November to a two-part event called Discover the Autism Spectrum and Adoptive Parenting. This two-part series, led by the AdoptOntario program, will be showcased at the ACO’s Adoption and Permanency Education Month! Sign up and join us this November 27th and 28th!
Part One (Webinar)
Whether you are certain or simply curious about adopting a child who lives with a diagnosis of Autism, our expert-led event is here to guide you. At this webinar, you can gain insights, learn about parenting strategies, and discover how to provide a nurturing home for a child or youth who is impacted by Autism and needs a permanent home. Date: Monday, November 27th, 2023 Part Two (In Person)
Join us in person for part two of this event! The evening will be spent discussing and learning more about the public adoption process and children and teens on the Autism spectrum in need of a loving family. We warmly welcome families at any stage of their adoption journey to engage with CAS agencies from across the province and gain valuable insights from experts in the field. Participating Agencies: Catholic CAS of Toronto, Bruce Grey Child & Family Services, CAS Toronto, CAS Hamilton, Kawarthra-Haliburton CAS, Peel CAS, CAS of York Region and Family and Children’s Services of Niagara. Date: Tuesday, November 28th, 2023
