What is A Day in My Life?

A Day in My Life allows you to delve into the daily routines and rhythms of each child, providing valuable insights into their individual personalities and various aspects of their lives. By joining this event, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of what it truly means to be a part of their world!

We are specifically looking for families who are open to supporting children with diverse needs, including those with physical requirements. This event aims to connect children with loving families who can provide the care and support they deserve.

The Adoption Council of Ontario provides specialized training and education for all those touched by adoption and permanency journeys. What to Expect at an Online Adoption Event

At an Online Adoption Event, you will learn more about children, youth or sibling groups who are seeking adoptive parent(s). A presentation will be led by an AdoptOntario Clinical Coordinator who will be accompanied by the children/youths’ adoption workers. They will provide you with information about the children/youths’ interests, personality, needs, supports, and what an adoptive family would look like for these children or youth. In addition, an educational component will be provided during the event. You will also have the opportunity to hear from and ask questions to either an adoption professional or adoptive parent(s) regarding their experiences within adoption.

This announcement is produced by the AdoptOntario program for prospective adoptive families and adoption workers and practitioners in Ontario. The information is intended to educate those interested in adoption about news, events and programs pertinent to their practice and/or journey.
