Not only will you have an opportunity to learn more about adoption and available resources, but you will also learn about an amazing group of children and youth looking for permanency. Register now!
What is Nurturing Identity? Our cultures’ stories, food, smells and songs fill our hearts and ground us as we go through life. Nurturing Identity features Black/multi-racial children who require families who share their ethnic/racial identity. When a child gains the opportunity to develop a strong sense of self they are better equipped to navigate their surroundings and the world. As African Canadian children are over-represented in the child welfare system at five times their representation in the population, it is essential to support them by providing them with a sense of belonging. Join us to learn more about these amazing children.

In addition, you will also have the opportunity to hear from and ask questions to either an adoption professional or adoptive parent(s) regarding their experiences within adoption.
