What is Power of Permanency?

Power of Permanency is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about how you can provide a loving home for a young person who desires a stable, supportive, and caring family. Youth over 15 make up almost half the children/young people in Ontario’s foster care system. As young people prepare to begin their journey towards independence, a family is crucial in providing them with the unconditional support they need as they navigate life’s challenges. Join us to learn more about these incredible young people and how you can support them as they grow and reach new milestones!

What to Expect at an Online Adoption EventAt an Online Adoption Event, you will learn more about children, youth or sibling groups who are seeking adoptive parent(s), as well as information and resources about adoption. They will provide you with information about the children/youths’ interests, personality, needs, supports, and what an adoptive family would look like for these children or youth. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to hear from and ask questions to either an adoption professional or adoptive parent(s) regarding their experiences within adoption.
