| AdoptOntario is very pleased to invite you to this month’s South Western and Hamilton Regional ARE 2023! The virtual event will take place over a two-day period – Wednesday, January 25 and Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 6PM to 9PM.
In order to accommodate the needs of the children and youth, the Regional ARE will be open to families that are AdoptReady or have begun their Homestudy AND are located in one of the following areas:
- Dufferin
- Elgin and St. Thomas
- Grand Erie (Brant, Haldimand, Norfolk)
- Halton
- Hamilton
- Linck (Chatham-Kent)
- Middlesex-London
- Niagara

- Oxford
- Peel
- Perth-Huron
- Sarnia-Lambton
- Waterloo
- Wellington/Guelph
- Windsor-Essex

What to Expect at the South Western and Hamilton Regional ARE
The ARE will give you an opportunity to learn more about the children and youth in the Grand River and Southwestern regions of Ontario in need of permanency. You will hear directly from a child or youth’s social worker about their interests, personality, needs, and what permanency would look like for them. The social worker will also be on hand to have your questions answered. More information and a detailed agenda will be released after registration.
The AdoptOntario (AO) Online Platform will be available to AdoptReady applicants prior to the events.
