Personality	Academics
Jonathan has an excellent sense of humour and will laugh with others and at himself. He likes to be active and busy and can often be found zipping around on his bike. Jonathan thrives on routine, and needs his days to follow the same structure every day. Within his routine, he can be independent and enjoys helping out around the hobby farm he lives on. He is good with animals of all kinds and is used to helping care for them.	Jonathan loves school and always wants to be where his classmates are. He is in a regular classroom with additional supports and a modified curriculum. Jonathan is learning at his own pace and does really well in Math. He is currently working on how to express himself and what he needs, and is slowly gaining more words to be able to do so.

Jonathan has a very positive relationship with his older sibling, and an Aunt and Uncle. These relationships are very supportive and important to Jonathan and will continue after he is adopted.	Jonathan has a lot of potential, and his abilities have exploded with the love and guidance of his caregivers. His caregivers help him by understanding the importance of his routine and being flexible when his routine is interrupted. Jonathan’s speech has exploded in the last two years, and he is able to respond to questions thoughtfully.

Jonathan is open to two-parent families that have begun the process of becoming AdoptReady. He would do best in a family where he has the opportunity to be the youngest child, and where he has lots of space to ride his bike and play.
