Kayla

Sing me a song and you’ll see a big smile appear on my face – I would love nothing more than listening to the songs you will sing to me! I am a happy little one who likes to giggle, laugh and make adorable sounds. While I do not have many words, I will mimic some noises and will have babbling conversations with you.

Kayla has a deep connection with her uncle and looks forward to his visits. Her Grandmother will also visit, and she hopes to one day have visits with her original mother. A special young person, Kayla navigates the world differently than her peers. She benefits from her caregivers cutting her food up into bite-sized pieces and is working on using a spoon to feed herself. While she can take a few steps on her own using the wall, she typically relies on her trusty wheelchair to get around.
