Call me Lily! I am a thirteen-year old music enthusiast. I describe myself as kind and sensitive, and I love to be active. You can often find me at my local recreational center, playing basketball or swimming. I also love to sing and want to be a singer when I grow up. I am looking for a family that will understand how I process information and be committed to supporting my wellbeing.

Personality	Academics
I have bright red hair and like to think it represents my nature. I see myself as having a big personality and can be a bit of a firecracker. As I mentioned, I love to be active and be constantly on the move both at home and at school. I prize relationships and like to spend time with the important people in my life.	I am in a special classroom that is best situated for my learning needs. I find reading and writing difficult, and benefit from an individual education plan. Some of the accommodations I benefit from are clear and simple instructions, hands-on materials, frequent breaks, rewording, countdown timers, and quiet settings.

I have many important relationships in my life, and it is important that I keep connected to the people I love. Relationships can be hard, and sometimes I have big emotions after a visit. It is important that my caregivers understand these emotions and help me use my coping strategies to get through them.	If you asked, I would tell you that I am working on expressing my feelings and articulating my thoughts in a way that can help the people around me understand what I need. My brain processes information differently than other youth my age, and this can make it difficult for me to process big emotions. I need the adults in my life to be patient with me and support me when I am struggling.

I am looking for a two-parent family who will stand by my side through thick and thin. I want to be adopted and to have parents who will be a consistent presence in my life. The right family for me would have a good understanding of mental health and wellness, as well as neurodivergence. I would do best as the youngest or only child in the home.
