This comedic boy can be very silly, as he spends a lot of his time laughing. At times, he can be mischievous in a playful way. Due to his exploratory nature, he needs close supervision and regular hands-on support to keep him safe as he can often approach new environments fearlessly. He thrives from routine and structure and he is learning to stop and think before he leaps. |
In-person schooling has been put on pause for Trevor during the pandemic, however, he now has a plan to transition into in-person schooling in the spring of 2022. At school, Trevor benefits from a one-on-one worker to help with his learning, as he is not developing at the same rate as his peers. He requires help with numeracy and literacy and is making progress at school. He is developing sign language and can say single words. |
Openness has been known to help children and youth with their sense of belonging. It would be important for Trevor to keep in contact with those who he has close relationships with. Contact with an original parent and his foster family can be maintained on an informal basis. |
Trevor is working with speech and language professionals to assist with expressive and receptive language development. He is also involved in occupational therapy to assist with sensory processing, attention/organization, and fine motor skills. During his physical therapy sessions, he is working on balance, gross motor skills, strengthening, coordination, and range of motion.
