Xander and David | November 2023

Let’s go on this incredible journey together! We can nurture my love for soccer, explore new adventures, and create a bright and happy future for me. With your support, my spirit will soar, and there won’t be any limits to what I can achieve!

Ages: Nine | Ethnicity/Race: Black, Caribbean

Picture the scent of tall grass, winding drives down country roads, and endless fields to run through! For these two sweet boys, country living is pure bliss. Xander and David adore their small town and the tight-knit community that makes it feel like home.

“A day in the country is worth a whole month in the city.”

Personality Academics
David and Xander are an energetic pair of twin brothers, inseparable and all about the fun! You’ll find them bouncing on the trampoline, cruising on their bikes, and enjoying playtime on their set. Xander’s got the moves, he loves to dance, while David is the video game master. But what gets them most excited? Saturday nights when they dine out with their foster parents! When it comes to school, these terrific twins are all in! They enjoy their time in the sensory room and receive the support of educational assistants throughout the day. Their school is a cozy, close-knit community where they’ve been thriving. Although they have just a few words, they have no trouble communicating with their teachers and are learning how to use pictures to express themselves.
Openness Special Considerations
Their foster parents are their rock, and they cherish their visits with family members. Xander and David are lovingly cared for by their foster parents and supported by dedicated workers who provide play-based supervision every night. On weekends, a relief foster family steps in when needed. These support systems are likely to continue once the boys find permanency. Routine and structure are the secrets to a fantastic day!
Matching Considerations Questions?
Xander and David would thrive in a two-parent family or with a single applicant who has a strong support system. Their adoptive family should be active and fully engaged, as both boys require round-the-clock supervision. Their adoptive team welcomes families who have started their PRIDE Education and/or Home Study. They would prefer a quieter suburban or rural setting, offering ample outdoor time. While a cultural match would be wonderful, their adoption workers are open to considering families of any background. Xander and David’s team is considering families who are AdoptReady and those who have not yet begun their homestudy.
