Child and Youth Profile Night | Nancy and Stella

Time: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Cost: No Fee

Registration Deadline: Tuesday, June 16th, at noon

Platform: Zoom Webinar (details will be sent out closer to the event date)

Registration Criteria: This event is open to AdoptReady or Underway families in Eastern Ontario and the GTA.

For optimal performance, we recommend using a laptop or desktop with an internet speed of at least 10mbps. Use of iPads, tablets and mobile phones is not recommended.

Time to meet 5-year-old twin girls, Nancy and Stella! Joined at the hip, this spirited duo loves to be outside climbing and playing. Nancy is an energetic and independent young person who loves dollies and playdough. Stella is outgoing and persistent, and loves to show off her latest accomplishments. These two are looking for a two-parent family who is AdoptReady or has started their Homestudy. The right family would be open to unknowns in their development and have an understanding of neurodivergence. These two have an excellent support network and would do best if they can remain close to a children’s hospital.

The Online Platform

The Online Platform will be available to families who register for the event from June 14th, 2026, to July 8th, 2026. The Online Platform is where families can find and submit an expression of interest form, should they wish to learn more about the children after the event.

What to Expect at the Child and Youth Profile Night

This online event will feature an interview with Nancy and Stella’s Child in Care worker, who will also be available for a Q&A from the audience. Following this presentation, there will be an excellent community presentation on FASD from the wonderful Mary Byrnes, Founder and Executive Director of Harrison’s Hope, and an experienced adoptive parent.
